Color Recommendations

We highly recommend use colors carefully - the most elegant solution is to print wording with one or two colors, however there is also an option for the third color. Invitation card itself is a finished designer’s product – the wording is just the last detail that should be clear and easy for reading.

The best way to color your wording is to choose 2 colors:
- for main text
- for accents

Main text usually takes about 90% of information. The best colors for main text are: Black, Dark Chocolate and Charcoal Grey.
Accents could be the names of a couple, monogram and wedding date. The best colors for accents are: Gold Imitation, Burgundy, Red, Purple or any other color from our Personalization page you wish.

The paper background must stay white / ivory to represent the quality of cardstock, but text and graphics can be customized to any of our ink options.
If you wish to add any graphic element (monogram, photograph, vector clipart) – write please about this in the comments to the wording on the Personalization section.

The most popular color choice:

1. All Black (white invitations)
2. Dark Chocolate + Gold Imitation (ivory invitations)
3. All Deep Chocolate (ivory invitations)
4. Gold Imitation (ivory invitations)
5. Black + Gold Imitation (ivory invitations)
6. Black + Burgundy (white invitations)
7. Charcoal Grey (white invitations)
8. Black + Purple (white invitations)
Because all displays show color differently, printed stationery may not match what you can see on your screen. If you are concerned about accurate colors, we highly recommend ordering a sample, which includes a copy of your printed wording. Just write us after ordering a sample with your request.
We do not accept returns based on color.
